The Goal

The goal was to eliminate the repetitive tasks that slowed the team down: checking multiple websites for updates, writing captions manually, juggling approval processes across tools, and uploading posts into scheduling platforms. Our solution brought it all together into one cohesive, automated flow — with Slack at the heart of it.

Automation

1. RSS Feeds are scraped

Automated: Curated RSS feeds get scraped for keywords at regular intervals.

2. Articles are filtered

Automated: Articles are filtered and extracted, with rules in place to avoid repeats or outdated content.

3. Captions are created

Automated: Social media captions are generated with the help of AI in a specific tone to maintain brand consistency.

4. Captions are reviewed in Slack

Human Verification: Each caption is sent to a dedicated Slack channel with its original source. The team can approve, edit, or reject directly within Slack to ensure quality and alignment.

5. Posts are scheduled in Slack

Automated: Approved or edited posts are scheduled for any date and time using the built-in calendar tool in Slack, then automatically published across all connected social media platforms—without ever leaving Slack.
